A Lifetime Spent Advancing Operating Engineers and Fighting for the Working Class
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Brother Gary Kroeker, our longtime Business Manager of Local 115 (from 1992-2010) and General Vice President of the IUOE. Gary dedicated his life to advancing Operating Engineers and fighting to improve the lives of the working class.
Gary’s outreach and engagement throughout his career extended to many organizations, and his positive outlook, sense of humour, and personal connection will be missed by all who knew him. The staff and members of Local 115 were part of Gary’s extended family, and the memories, contributions, and Gary’s quick wit will be remembered forever.
Our deepest condolences and support are with his wife Marlene and the Kroeker family.
