A dispatcher will contact you regarding an open position, based on classification priority.

  • Members need to respond to a dispatch for work in less than four hours/half a day from the time they receive a notice for their services.
  • If no response is received, a dispatcher will contact other members to fulfill the request from the employer.
  • Vacant positions must be filled within two business days.

Members working on non-union sites may be contacted by the union to support a union organizing campaign. 

Dispatch procedures may vary based on Collective Agreement.
